Cameras are professionally hard-wired to a DVR or NVR, recording to a surveillance-grade hard drive. Selected cameras add on-board SD card recording as a local backup.
HD & 4K cameras

Remote viewing & playback
Securely view cameras live, play back footage and receive alerts on your phone, tablet or computer, on site or away. No monthly cloud-recording fees.

Do your CCTV cameras record in colour at night?
Selected Hikvision ColorVu models can provide full-colour images at night, depending on the camera model and lighting conditions, while other cameras use infrared for night-time visibility. A Checkatrade reviewer in DA5 reported much better quality and improved night-time vision after upgrading to a full-HD system. The quote visit matches the camera to your lighting.
Can the system tell people from vehicles?
On supporting cameras, yes. Systems can be configured with intrusion detection and line-crossing alerts, and advanced detection helps distinguish between people and vehicles, reducing unwanted alerts. You choose the zones and boundaries that matter at the quote visit.
What camera resolution do I need?
We install IP cameras from 4MP through to 12MP, including 4K models at approximately 8MP. Higher resolution captures more detail, such as faces and number plates, at greater distances. Can I view my cameras away from the property?
Yes. Secure remote access lets you view cameras live, review and play back recorded footage, and receive security notifications on your smartphone, tablet or computer. Footage records to your own DVR or NVR on a surveillance-grade hard drive, with no monthly cloud-recording fees.
Can you upgrade an existing CCTV system?
