Locks & Alarms Ltd collects the details you enter in the free quote form (postcode, property type, services of interest, preferred contact time, name, phone and email) for one purpose: responding to your enquiry and arranging the quote visit. We process them with your consent, given by the checkbox on the form, and keep them only as long as we need them.

What we collect
The free quote form collects the details you type in:
- Your postcode.
- Your property type (home or business).
- The services you are interested in.
- Your preferred contact time.
- Your name, phone number and email address.
The form also records marketing attribution parameters. These note which page, section and button led to your submission. They describe your route through this site, not you.
The form includes a hidden anti-spam field. Automated submissions that fill it are discarded and not forwarded. We do not collect payment details through this site.
Why we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry and to arrange your free quote. We use them for nothing else.
Lawful basis
Our lawful basis is consent (UK GDPR, Article 6(1)(a)). You give consent by ticking the checkbox on the form. The form does not submit without it.
You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing enquiries@locks-alarms.co.uk. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew it.
Where your data goes
Form submissions are checked on our server, then forwarded to Make.com, an automation service. Make.com passes the submission to us so we can get in touch. It processes the data on our instructions.
We do not sell your details and we do not pass them to anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only as long as we need it: to respond to your enquiry, to carry out and support any work that follows, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. After that it is deleted. You can ask us to delete your details at any time using the contact details above.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Have your data erased.
